Institutional membership: R500.00 per annum

Individual membership: R150.00 per annum

Membership

Membership of the South African Society of Archivists is open to all who are interested in the archival and records management profession and manuscript sources. A National Committee is elected biennially. Membership forms can be obtained from the website address www.saarchivist.co.za

All members automatically receive a copy of Journal of the South African Society of Archivists (previously SA Archives Journal) annually, free of charge. The Journal (volume 44 of 2011) has been released and we would like to mail copies to the members.

Journal Subscriptions
Non-members and institutions may subscribe to the journal at the following rates, including postage:

Individual:      Local   R150
                      Foreign   20 US dollars
Institutional:  Local   R300
                       Foreign  40 US dollars

Correspondence regarding subscriptions, orders for back copies, as well as notices of change of contact details can be addressed to the Secretary at sasa@dac.gov.za or LebohangM@dac.gov.za

We have noticed that some members have recently or in the past made deposit to the Society’s bank but neither names nor references were indicated. The bank is proving particular difficult in tracing these payments. We are appealing to members who have made membership deposits to forward the scanned proof of payments and their postal address to Mr Lebohang Mokoena at sasa@dac.gov.za or LebohangM@dac.gov.za and copy Mr Mpho Ngoepe at mphongoepe@tsamail.co.za.
